Notes from our readers!

A note from Oklahoma:

"I just subscribed for one year to your magazine.... I live in Oklahoma City, but used to live in the Canton, GA area. I miss Georgia tremendously and love the way your magazine brings back a piece of it to me through your articles and photos. The stories your write highlighting the lives of the local residents, reminds me of the gentle, warm and generous spirit of the region in which I lived. Anyone who hasn't been to that area doesn't truly know where the actual "heartland" of America is. Do you all know how fortunate you are to live in such a beautiful area? I think a visit to Oklahoma would open your eyes! Don't get me wrong Oklahoma has been very, very good to me, but has never been able to capture a piece of my soul, which is what Georgia did. God was truly smiling when he created your spot on this green earth.

Again, I love your magazine, keep on sharing the joy and beauty of your state with the rest of our "God Blessed" United States."

A note from Alabama

Thanks! We love the Laurel and always look for a copy when we’re in the area. I read every inch of it – advertising, too. We have chosen restaurants and shops to patronize through the Laurel. Keep up the good work – it’s a beautiful (and very useful) magazine.
