Clayton Crawl - A Spectacular Evening

by Jenny Wilson

Last July the Clayton Merchants & Business Association brought us the Clayton Crawl. It was such a spectacular evening filled with fun, food, music and wine that they have decided to do it again! The 2nd Annual Clayton Crawl will be held Saturday July 17th from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Join us on Main Street in Clayton in the beautiful mountains of Northeast Georgia and sample great grub from Rabun County’s premiere restaurants. Taste wines from Northeast Georgia Mountain vineyards: Tiger Mountain Vineyard, Yonah Mountain Vineyard and Sautee Nacoochee Vineyard and wines from around the world featured on the wine lists of our restaurants. Listen to David Fry on the saxophone and Brian Sanders playing the guitar and singing!
You may buy a 2010 Clayton Crawl wine glass for $10 and use it to sample the various wines at the Crawl! Food tickets are $1 each and food samples can be purchased with1 to 3 tickets from each restaurant. Tickets may be purchased at the event (with cash only) or purchased before the event along with glasses and T-shirts at Fromage & Other Fine Foods 31 Earl Street Clayton, GA or by calling 706.212.7349.
The CMBA will give the monies raised back to the community for the beautification of Rabun County. For more information check out www.claytoncrawl.org. And join us the evening of Saturday July 17th for a marvelous time in beautiful downtown Clayton!
